Arlo Hotels is a new—and growing—independent group that opened with two award-winning properties in New York City’s SoHo and NoMad neighborhoods.
High on design, the hotels make full use of their multiple common spaces and lively F&B outlets, drawing guests out of their rooms into the community.
Spherical developed Arlo’s website in two phases. First with a newly-designed content hub that created a space to tie in key brand elements to Arlo’s editorial content. The hub included destination blog posts, and a sophisticated events calendar. Its flexible platform in the back-end allows property teams to easily add and remove events across properties.
Second, the team redesigned Arlo’s full site, building out a new website to communicate the brand online. This continued the themes identified in the first phase, and maintained the site’s complete flexibility, as the brand is growing and will add new properties
During an initial audit process, Spherical identified several opportunities for improvement in SEO, including targeting, technical and optimization. Implementing these helped drive tremendous gains in the first year in regards to media spend efficiency, keyword placement, traffic, and revenue.
A year after the take over, overall website conversions more than doubled and revenue for both properties
increased significantly.
